I founded MeritLee Law on a simple belief: exceptional legal representation requires both skill and integrity — and you should never have to choose between the two.

As a Trial Attorney and Senior Litigation Counsel in the Attorney General's Honors Program at the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Division, I represented the federal government in district and appellate courts nationwide, led high-profile immigration litigation, and advised on litigation risk and strategy at the highest level. I was recognized with the 2020 Civil Division Special Commendation Award and the 2021 Rookie of the Year Award for exceptional contributions to the Division's mission.

Every case I take, I've seen from the other side. That perspective is your advantage.

I have litigated in more than 20 federal district courts and 6 appellate courts across the country — handling high-stakes civil cases, nationwide class actions, and complex immigration matters from case assessment through trial. When you are facing federal court, you deserve an attorney who has already been there, on both sides.

Prior to founding MeritLee Law, I served as a Senior Associate at Fluet, where I represented both plaintiffs and defendants in government contracting disputes, business litigation, employment matters, constitutional claims, and Administrative Procedure Act challenges. I litigated in federal and state court, advised clients in highly regulated industries, and assisted with responses to government investigations and inquiries.
